Biostile Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that humans cannot synthesize and therefore must be obtained through diet. After ingestion, a specific substance is available to the target tissues at a specific concentration, which is called bioavailability.

Bioavailability is determined by various mechanisms in the body: absorption rate, distribution in the body, metabolism, and excretion.
